This client review attests to the efficacy of Canine Path private puppy training as well as the program Suzanne Mackay provides dog owners so that they may continue to reinforce their fur babies’ best behaviors and “stay on script.”
Brian saw excellent results in Canine Path’s training for skittish or nervous dogs and puppies. Puppy socialization lessons also made a big difference, as Brian reports that his fur baby went from being a fearful little pup scared of strangers to a more confident one that approaches strangers to sniff and even lick their hands.
Additionally, he also received consultation from Suzanne regarding unexpected issues such as noisy bug zappers that bothered his pup.

Through her many years of experience and expertise dealing with every dog situation you can ever imagine, Suzanne is a difference maker in making your relationship with your dog better for the both of you. She comes to your home which helps because she can see your environment and make recommendations. As she comes up with a solution to every issue you can possibly think of, she looks up the solutions on the spot and texts them to you so that you don’t have to try to remember what she told you and also, you have her recommendations for good and the link to them. Super helpful and convenient. For example, she had a solution for an increase in flies from my backyard area and for a bug zapper that was too loud for my initially skittish pup and sent me links to the solutions. Things that seem above and beyond for a dog trainer and enormously helpful. And now for the difference in my pup. He went from being a fearful skittish little guy that would hide from strangers and wouldn’t let them come near him. He was growling and foaming at the mouth when Suzanne first came over. Now he’s sniffing strangers’ hands, sometimes licking them, and I received the following compliments from neighbors the past couple days: “He looks like such a more confident, calmer dog now. He has a much happier and playful disposition. It’s night and day.”
